Run by Freedom Quest, our ropes challenge course is located on the other side of the creek that runs through the retreat.

A Ropes Course in general can consist of High, Low or a combination of both design elements. Whatshan Ropes Course is a Low Ropes Course that consists of an aesthetically designed series of ropes, cables and logs combined in such a way as to stimulate challenges that might be found in a natural setting.

Whatshan Lake is a short 300-meter walk down a scenic country lane. A series of three lakes extends 30 kilometers through prestine wilderness. Canoe or kayak in the still waters and listen to the lonesome lament of a loon. Swim the warm waters at the nearby beach or hop on your bike to make your way to the public beach a few kilometers down the shore.
